Department Policies - SB 978
The San Diego University Police Department's operational procedures and training materials guide personnel in their work duties. All current procedures training materials are posted in accordance with SB978 (Penal Code Section 13650) with the exception of policies and procedures, and associated education and training materials, relating to tactics, security, and issues of officer safety, which are not otherwise available to the public. The goal in providing our policies and procedures online is to increase transparency and encourage feedback from the community we serve.
